If, and that's a big if, he were ever to be traded this year, he would be worth a hell of a lot more than people think. Even if it wouldn't take a massive over-payment to get him due to the whole sentimental thing, he's still one of the league's top producers and minute munchers.

Unfortunately for a few teams that could definitely use him, I don't think he's available.

Hate to say. Def could see him in Boston. Id like to see him in Detroit but dont wanna play against him potentially in the playoffs.

it was such a relief to see them put forth an effort. the last half dozen or more games I really think the top line played like ass with very little forecheck and an even less desirable backcheck. they all put in a team effort tonight with the veterans leading the way just like they should. a few goof ups for sure, but hustle won this game. the future looks bright (and possibly shiny?). have to say im impressed with jon cooper's demeanor coming into this. they way he presents himself and the drive he has at this job really sets a good tone and I think everyone will respond well, Syracuse and the Ads certainly have.

Boy does Buffalo suck, Kaleta is an assh*ole and Ott couldn't fire a listless Sabres team. They only have nine ROWins this season no wonder Miller wants out. I thought we have been bad but this was a horrible effort by Buffalo. Garth must be on drugs maybe tripping on acid if he thinks they're a playoff team.

we might see some fireworks before the end of this season.. unfortunately, I think we're too deep for a legitimate run to the playoffs, but next year im thinking we come out like Montreal..

anyone know more specifics about Coopers style? recently I've felt that we have the talent and youth to utilize a dangerous puck possession style similar to Vancouver or Pittsburgh which would be scary with our speed

And yet there are still people I know that say Marty "wouldn't fit into every team's top 6". I was told earlier today he'd be a 3rd liner on Boston or that he wouldn't fit into Pittsburgh's top 6. Like seriously do people not realize how complete of a player he is? He's just flat out awesome and has been a top 10 player in the league for nearly the past 10 years.
